   No proposed date at the moment but I think it is going to be more than 5-6 months from now because we need a well prepared event to satisfy all people.

   Yeah, I need your help coz I believe you have organized/joined many events in you uni. And I need your creative idea as weel!

   I think normal Wordcamp would have so many talks. But I don’t want that. I believe we need a FRESH idea. Perhaps we can do something fun activities

   great idea there

   Mayb instead of talks, you could also do small workshop type of sessions, open discussion (anyone can ask/answer questions), that sort of thing

    Hi izzuddin,

    I am Wordpress fan and enthusiast. To be frank, i am working on this to organize Wordcamp Malaysia in 2010 as i have been traveling very frequently for Wordpress event across Asia like Wordcamp Indonesia…

    And i have been communicating with Matt Mullenweg (Wordpress founder)during Wordcamp Indonesia…in regards of the details on how to bring in people from US..i.e Automattic…and also funding from them…

    Perhaps both of us can work together on this…email will be the best correspondence as i travel very frequently between Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore…thank you

    Hello again my friend, the idea you have is great…go for it. Not sure if it can help, but try to contact the guys over http://wordcampnola.com as they just got very successful wordCamp event. See the Attendees list and try to catch with some of them for your event…i am sure they would love to visit Malaysia.

    As for where to get in touch with some real high-caliber wp farts, just go to http://events.carsonified.com/fowd and see the speakers list and try to talk to them. Also i would definitely email Nick La from WebDesignerWall…he is cool and i am sure he can bring some “color” to your event
