OK, there is around 10 people there which is good since it small group and we have time for everyone to share everything, not only listening. Its started around 6.45pm till 9.30pm of course with a break for pray. We discussed and shared a lot of things about tech and life.. We share from How to use a DSLR, CDN, WordPress, Joomla and many more.. haha.. Yeah, this is a geek meetup =)

So I wanna do a quick review for iBook for iPad. OK, so below here is my iBook library.. which contains my books (most of it @kreativethemes bought for us). As you can see there are 2 section – Books and PDFs. Books is for ‘.epub’ format books which is highly customizable (fonts, color, background) when you read the books and PDFs is normal ebooks. Wanna buy books? Just click at Store button or if you want to copy ebook from your computer, just copy it to iTunes.

Ok, so how if I wanna delete some of my books? Just click edit and you’ll have a screen like below:

If you don’t like to have a digital bookshelf , you can always have a normal plain boring listing like this:

Which also can be viewed by Titles, Authors or Categories..

So how do ‘.epub’ books looks like? Let me rotate it to be landscape, you can have 2 page at the same time and let us start with ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ (which is free – and I’m not gonna read it anymore). Normal .pdf can’t have this. You can view table of contents and the bookmarks that you’ve made

Let say you’re an old man and can’t have bright light, you can adjust the brightness so you can eat the text peacefully (let us rotate it back – don’t worry, you can view it on Landscape mode):

Want to have a bigger fonts or smaller fonts?

Hey, how about I want to have a Comic Sans or Papyrus? (OMG! Damn you!) Unfortunately that fonts should be extinct like Dinosaurs, but don’t worry you have other fonts (which change all texts)

Are you lost? Need to search something?

How about we bookmark a really informational page? Just touch the ribbon and it will become red which means hooray!

OK, thats a quick and short review of iBooks… It definitely makes me more excited reading ebooks more than physical books or even on iMac 27″!

We share same passion and hopes our team strength will help us in future.

I have so much fun working with them. Each of them are really different. We have cool Gaddafi, hardworking Fathihah, shy Ajmal, ambitious Amirul, funny Huzairy and serious Mior.

OK, for now, we have 2 paid themes (Vivalicious and Phanatics) and 1 free theme (Furvious) available. There are many more themes to come out and I think we can produce 2-4 designs per month. We still have a lot of works to do until we can reach safe stage. Our themes are affordable, you can see our pricing here.

And by opening my own business, I hope I am not in “hitlist” of other premium themes makers but their friends. Owh, I’m not going to say any bullshit anymore here as I don’t really care about competition but to produce things in our own unique way.
